NAME: Curtis & Christina Evelo

FAMILY: Three daughters, one son, a very awesome black dog, a cat, five of the smallest horses we’ve ever owned, and the whole 4x4 club.

EMPLOYMENT:  Auto painter at Rick’s Auto Body, custom painter and fabricator at home. Christina keeps track of all of us from home base.

A BIT OF LIFE HISTORY:  Born and raised in Montana. Traveled the entire United States (except for Hawaii & Alaska) with my Dad in the Semi during my younger years. Through high school I worked on both my grandpas’ farms during the summers in South Dakota. I attended Wyoming Tech and have been painting for 16 years. I raced ATVs as a Semi-Pro and Pro nationally for a while and LOVED it!  With all the support of the family it really was an experience of a lifetime!!!  Chris and I have been involved with some sort of off-roading for 17 years now!

4X4 VEHICLES: Started wheeling with a ‘75 Ford, 7” lift & 40s (at 15 years old). I built a ‘77 Ford as a show truck, 17” lift with 44s; then a ‘68 Ford,  5” lift with 35s. Got tired of that and built a ‘70 Ford, 6” long travel suspension and all the goodies. Then built an ‘89 Ford Bronco, 4” lift and 35s. Now I have a ‘99 Ford Superduty F350,  6” lift; a ‘02 Suburban, 2.5” lift; an ‘89 Ranger, 2wd pre-runner; and the infamous Limo… a ‘93 black Suburban.

MODIFICATIONS DONE TO YOUR PRESENT RIDE: My LIMO has a solid front axle swap, cross over steering, 4:10 gears, rear has Corporation 14 bolt ff with the ORD shackle flip, 454 big block with 4L80E trans with a 241 t-case.

FAVORITE VEHICLE OF ALL TIME: I’d have to say my last national quad that I built and never got to race.

IF MONEY WAS NOT AN OBJECT, WHAT WOULD YOU DRIVE OFF ROAD? Some sort of Jeep with coil overs, lockers, and lots of room for the wife and kids.

SAME QUESTION BUT ON ROAD? Brand new F350 King Ranch dually!!!!!

FAVORITE TRAIL OR TRAILS: Trails up to Copper Cliff Mine… really easy but very scenic.

TRAIL OR AREA THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO RUN SOME TIME REALISTICALLY:  All of Moab, some of California and Mexico.

SAME QUESTION BUT UN-REALISTIC:  All of the awesome wheeling that has been shut down due to endangered beetles.

FAVORITE TYPE OF FOUR WHEELING?  Good rocks, sand dunes, desert, and any that keep me from working!!!

WHAT OTHER THINGS DO YOU LIKE TO DO? Wheel, ride my quads, play with my kids, horses, fish, hang out on the front porch swing!!

FUTURE GOALS IN LIFE? Teach my kids everything I know and learn all that they know!!

IF YOU COULD BE ANYTHING IN LIFE, WHAT JOB WOULD YOU HAVE? To be independently wealthy so I can be a stay at home DAD, or just be PRESIDENT!!!
